This picture was made in the early morning at Vransko Lake, in Croatia. The huge numbers of songbirds in the reedbeds and on the wires, attracted several bird of prey-species, such as Hobby, Peregrine Flacon, Sparrow Hawk and Montagu's Harrier. Their passage always caused huge clouds of panicking birds flying away. Here a hunting Hobby led to an amazing wildlife spectacle with thousands of swallows flying up.
